The Charm of Chinoiserie
Steeped in history and hosted within the modern walls of Katzen Arts Center in Washington, D.C., the Washington Winter Show is the second oldest charitable antiques show in the United States. It features more than 40 dealers from the U.S. and Europe, offering a broad range of exquisite antiques and fine arts.
This year’s show — The Charm of Chinoiserie — explores our enduring fascination with chinoiserie – the imitation and evocation of Chinese artistic traditions in the West.
