A New Beginning, Linda Mutti, pastel, 14 x 20 in. Shows the Eastern Sierras as the sun is rising. This is one of my favorite places to paint, the Eastern Sierras are magical especially as the sun begins to drape them in the warm light.
Linda Mutti: Linda Mutti is an award winning plein air painter that works in pastels and oils. She has a passion for interpreting the golden light of the California coast, rolling foothills and her beloved Sierras. Working in an impressionistic manner in the out of doors is Linda’s idea of heaven. “I’ve loved to draw since my earliest memories. If I can make someone happy or be moved by one of my works, then I’m happy. I love interpreting nature in all its glory and if I can share with other artists, then all the better. I feel very blessed to be able to live my passion.
