I sought my inspiration from plein air painting along the beautiful California coastline and in her lush valleys and mountains.

First introduced through the lost wax method used for bronze sculpture, next introduced to encaustic painting also involving heating and sculpting the medium, and finally, learned to paint with cold wax and oils.

Since he was a child, artist Morgan Weistling has constantly seen beauty and design in the world. Intensely studying art by 12 and painting movie posters for top agencies by 19, Weistling has been chasing beauty his entire career, and he continually captures it with luminous results.
